On the pages of American Vogue

In connection with the past elections in the United States (sincerely happy for winning them Obama) American Vogue has published a very interesting article with photos of the first lady, at different times, appearing on the pages of this magazine. It becomes not just interesting, but certainly has an important historical value, such as the story shoots originates in distant 20s. Then Lou Henry Hoover, wife of President Herbert Hoover posed for the photographer Edward Steichen outstanding. Later, the portrait was placed in Vogue, released May 11, 1929, shortly before the economy suffered a collapse and America was plunged into the Great Depression. Then Vogue began one of the most important of their traditions - First Lady photographed for the pages of the magazine. These women were and are to this day an example of intelligence, strength, influence and durability.
