Chewing gum

In many American schools there is a ban on chewing gum, because the students are accustomed to glue it on a chair or table. However, researchers have found that chewing gum helps teenagers to concentrate better and improve their performance in school. The researchers observed the progress in math 108 students aged 13-16 years, students in the Texas school attended mostly children from low-income families. Half of the students were given chew gum during class tests and homework. They chew gum for at least 86% of the time while you are in class, and 36% of the time allotted for the preparation of homework. After 14 weeks of the experiment, the students, who were given the cud, 3% increased performance in mathematics. Also, they had better results at the end of the school year than those who did not chew gum. Experts believe that chewing gum helps students cope with stress during tests and to better cope with the tasks. Therefore, they hope that in schools where there is a ban on chewing gum, will treat it easier thanks to the results of this study. "When it comes to ban chewing gum, it is not even in the chewing gum, and how to get rid of her students, and efforts should be made to correct this particular problem" - sure they are.
