The optimum age difference

Most often men marry women younger than them, and the girls, on the contrary, are married off to older men. But is there an optimum age difference between husband and wife? A new study found that men in Finland should marry women younger than them at least 15 years in order to produce a strong and healthy offspring that will literally be able to survive at least 18 years old. Scientists have made this conclusion by examining the data on 700 marriages, the church dating from the 17th and finishing 19th century. As a result, only 10% of all men and women was the optimal age difference, and the average age difference between husband and wife was 3 years old. Modern research in Sweden showed that men are more likely to find themselves wives woman 6 years younger than him. However, experts pointed out that financial security is the most important factor when choosing a partner, but love does not play any role.
