The Road (The Road) - On Earth, there was a global catastrophe. The whole life of the people has changed. Hunger and cold most of the areas covered. In an attempt to survive the father (Viggo Mortensen) and his still young son (Kodi Smit-McPhee), fighting for survival, decided to move the road south along the Pacific Ocean in search of warmth, food security and other survivors of the disaster people . Along the way they encounter a serious struggle and hardship driving through barren landscapes, lack of food, try to avoid cannibals and other gangs involved in looting valuables and food. On the road, the Father constantly visit the memories of his wife (Charlize Theron) who helps him stand fell on hard times.
