The festival of sand sculptures takes place in the Hamptons with the year 2000. Its founder was a local sculptor Gregory Grady (Gregory Grady). He has created several sculptures at a local beach exclusively on voluntary basis.

Now, this event has become an international event. For the sculpture has been used more than 150 tons of sand. The competition program was attended by ten masters of international class.
