A new light installation by Luzinterruptus Bashny.Net

Light is not just a stream of photons! In the right hands it can become a material for creativity. As examples of the Association's Luzinterruptus. New light installation recently appeared in Switzerland, and she is dedicated to debris.





Their new work, Plastic garbage guarding the museum, studying the garbage problem in the cities. She was presented recently in the Swiss city of Winterthur, as part of the exhibition Oh, plastiksacki in the local Museum of modern art Gewerbemuseum.





Installation Plastic garbage guarding the museum consists of two large baskets, filled with slide with trash bags. Moreover, each of these elements is lit from within. The guys from Luzinterruptus call these two baskets "guards" of the Museum, standing on either side of the entrance.





To get these trash bags, Luzinterruptus, the participants and curators of the exhibition Oh, plastiksacki invited all interested residents of Winterthur to bring in special point of reception of their packages of garbage. In return they received free tickets to the Museum, and artists — authentic material from which they then created a light installation Plastic garbage guarding the museum.
