Rippling ice surface countertops, pouring and solidifying the whirlpools legs crystal water, five meters long and half a meter wide – the project Liquid Glacial signature is Zaha Hadid's completely transparent.











For the realization of the intent of the architect has chosen a perfectly transparent Plexiglas, which was carefully polished manually. The Liquid Glacial series consists of two models: a dining table (height 75 cm) and coffee (40 cm). Both are impressive architectural generosity of dimensions, so typical for Hadid with: more "modest" coffee option is the countertop 250х87 cm and dining table consists of two joined sections 250х140 and 280х140см. Interestingly, its dynamics brand, Zaha Hadid has managed to breathe in a completely trivial form: in fact it is the banal tables on three legs with top standard outlines. Chudinovskih a little "magic" - and now the countertop is turned into water, the water ran a ripple, make a wave, spun around the funnel. Another moment and flowing streams freeze, forming a glittering ice sculpture.



Liquid Glacial tables is not an art object, as you might think based on their appearance. It is quite functional, and ergonomic furniture. They are designed for David Gill Galleries and is issued in a limited edition of just 8 pieces.
