The Kunsthalle Museum

Among the art museums of Europe Kunsthalle in Hamburg is one of the most important and significant thanks to the unique collection collected here are paintings and sculptures of many famous masters of art.









The Museum was created on the initiative of local residents, members of the creative Association of art lovers. Putting forward such a request to the authorities, they eventually succeeded, and in 1869 was completed the construction of the building of the Kunsthalle.

On a total area of over 15 thousand square meters assembled an amazing collection of paintings of various styles including Gothic and modern art. Periodically, the Kunsthalle has themed exhibitions and expositions, and on Sundays anyone can go on a tour. Here every year come thousands of tourists and travelers to enjoy the priceless historic heritage.

Interestingly, the gallery of modernity was added to the Museum only in 1995, and now here periodically undergo screenings, the main theme of which is modern art and popular paintings of our time.

As for the coin-operated hall of the Kunsthalle, the total number of coins and medals are more than a few thousand. List of artists, whose paintings are here very long. This Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Kandinsky, Munch, Liebermann and hundreds of other eminent painters.
