Lego assembled a fully functional car Bashny.Net

To create a unique car with Steve and Raul went close to 500 thousand parts of Lego. With the exception of wheels, tires and dashboard it is entirely composed of cubes of the popular designer, which cost the sponsors about 60 thousand dollars.





In February 2012, Sammartino submitted a tweet in which advertised a local crowdfunding campaign: he was looking for close to twenty people who are willing to pay from 500 to 1000 dollars to create something "unusual and cool".



Responded to the call of the 14 residents of Australia who offered to start working amount. The car was collected in Romania, where Raul lives, and then brought it to Steve in Melbourne.
The handling of sensitive construction was a challenge: to the destination she arrived with a serious injury. The creators thought that to repair a machine that is fully assembled from the designer, will not be difficult, but changes in temperature in the path of the changed physical characteristics of parts and complicated repairs.



Returning the car to original appearance, Sammartino and Oaida began to run on the streets of Melbourne.
