Wooden figures in the streets by Joe Iurato

There is one feature uniting all the cities in the world – is a concentrated crowd of people running about their business. These people do not look around, their faces Express only concern, and they are reminiscent of the skater before the start of the race. In order to distract the inhabitants of large cities from their everyday Affairs, Joe Iurato has created a collection of wooden figurines, which were subsequently installed in the most unexpected places: on a sidewalk, in a puddle, on the wall of a building in a pond.

Eyewitnesses claim that the silent figures began to attract more and more public attention, which can not but rejoice. Especially very popular figure of a boy sitting in a puddle. The artist depicted the child as if he plunged into the water waist-deep, and the eye of the character pulled a hood. Another boy inhabit the pavement of the metropolis. Children's figure bent over the road to finish a chalk inscription, and all the passers-by involuntarily shudder, trying to warn the child about the dangers.

None of the artist's work was ridiculed by critics, which can speak about the absolute success of Joe Iurato. The American explains, this factor is the fact that he creates the characters as close to everyday life, so every passerby can read at the wooden sculpture either yourself or one of your loved ones. No less a stir among the residents of Sao Paulo called the street art project "Splash", in which were painted the walls of the main streets of the city.
