Beautiful Cat's Eye Nebula (NGC 6543), Space Telescope photographed NA-SA "Hubble".

Beautiful Cat's Eye Nebula (NGC 6543), Space Telescope photographed NA-SA «Hubble." This accumulation of gas and dust located 3,000 light-years from Earth.
Cat's Eye - a planetary nebula in the constellation Draco. Structurally, it is one of the most complex nebulae. And all were able to identify thanks to the high resolution photos of the Hubble. Which are visible on the assemblies, jet pyzyri arcuate strip and the like.

In the center of the eye located bright stars that produced the light nebula, gradually losing their outer coverings.
This nebula, like many others, discovered in 1786 by William Herschel.
In the old days there was speculation among astronomers like nebula - a cluster of countless stars, something like the Milky Way. But the data showed that this is not the stars, but simply glowing hot gases.
Before modern researchers Cat's Eye puts a lot of mysteries.
For example, why such a complex structure of the nebula? There is a version that the center of the nebula burns double star. But there is no evidence yet that the main star has a companion.
In addition, the nebula is observed in all possible ways - it is studied the electromagnetic spectrum, infrared, X-ray, etc. So, the information obtained in different ways before different, sometimes even conflicting. This is a unique case.
With the help of the Hubble Space Telescope could see the nebula around a ring of spherical shells of the central star, thrown into the distant past. The exact mechanism of occurrence of these membranes, however, not yet clear.
