"Mail of Russia" was engaged in energy efficiency Bashny.Net

The authorities concerned with energy saving and energy efficiency "Mail of Russia". The parties signed a corresponding cooperation agreement.

The document provides for the development and expert evaluation of the strategy of energy efficiency of "Mail of Russia", development of energy-efficiency standards for the postal sector, the participation of all stakeholders in the development and promotion of energy conservation in Russia, as well as exchange of experience between regions on applied ways of saving energy resources.

Also in 2014 "Mail of Russia" has developed a "Road map" of energy efficiency for the period up to 2020. The main objectives are the reduction of energy intensity of services and energy consumption for the maintenance of fixed assets, and optimization of all business processes.

"More than 42,000 objects of postal communication require fixed costs and investment. The issue of energy efficiency is very important in the eve of corporatization of the Russian post. Actions in the field of energy saving will allow us to annually reduce energy consumption by 4%," — said General Director of "Mail of Russia" Dmitry Strashnov.
