The laser has evolved into an effective and reliable method of removing unwanted hair. The usual method in most cases involves the shaving of the hair just before the procedure. With this technique a significant portion of hair remains in the hair channels, therefore, a much larger portion of laser energy is absorbed by the melanin contained in the epidermal cells, and destroys them. In the proposed Dr Abbaspour technique, which is poorly tested and is not tested for several days before laser hair removal hair is not shaved, but instead is removed with the root.
