According to the architects, their project is commercially viable. It is based on already existing and fairly well-tested building materials and technologies.

Floating farms will be placed in nearby large Metropolitan areas water bodies to reduce the cost of transportation of food and ensure the freshness of food.

Each lightweight module will be 350 meters long and 200 meters wide. He will be linked with other modules to form clusters associated with tracks. The SFF module includes three main levels: a lower level for the aquaculture and placement of water desalination systems; the second level for growing traditional crops using hydroponics; and the third level is covered with solar panels, lighting panels and elements of the system of collecting rainwater.
