"KAMAZ" presented a prototype of a van with a system of Autonomous control, called "SHUTTLE". Premiere of the concept car was held in the framework of the Moscow motor show.





On the project of unmanned public transport, "KAMAZ" works together with specialists of "US" and company "Yandex", responsible for the provision of data about the infrastructure.

Minibus for 12 passengers, is considered "as alternatives to traditional multiple buses running drivers" that run on a strictly specified routes.





The path of motion of the "Shuttle" will be calculated in real time depending on the specific destination of passengers. "Fellowship" people with a system of Autonomous control is via a special smartphone app, which allows you to specify the point of final destination.

KAMAZ noted that in Russia there is no legal framework authorizing the movement of vehicles with autopilot on public roads. Therefore, it is assumed that the first unmanned buses will be used in closed areas, airports, Convention centers, business parks and Museum complexes.





At the moment, KAMAZ is developing an unmanned truck, the creation of software which is a Russian company Cognitive Technologies. The control electronics of the UAV will be guided by the data from set of cameras and special sensors. In addition, for artificial intelligence is developing a "moral criteria" that will help the autopilot to determine the best options for action in extreme situations. published
