Looking into the lens after 30 years

Photo - one of the most powerful tools with which recorded memories and feelings. When in 1982 the Swiss photographer Barbara Davatts met a couple of young people and photographed them, she did not think that this picture will begin its 30-year photographic project. Then she took pictures of 12 young couples.

As time went on, and Barbara wondered what biographical and physical changes occur in pairs. She found the heroes of his works and invited them to come again. Filming continued in 1988, 1997 and 2014. Some couples broke up with someone in the portraits had children, someone came from the other partners, some came alone.

Barbara recognized that while working on a project of her characters have become her "photographic family." Without revealing the details of his personal life, she released a book about them, "Time flies." At first glance, the photo of the object, as a silent performer, fixed conventional urban couple. But the talent of the photographer told how every image is hidden history of relations between people and their meetings, partings, life's vicissitudes.
