Heidemarie incredible story began 22 years ago when an elderly school teacher demanded a divorce and moved to the city of Dortmund together with their two children. One of the strongest shocks after Heidemarie arrived in Dortmund, there was a huge number of the homeless. She always believed that homeless people do not need the money, so that society took them back, they only need the chance to become useful. So she opened a shop on the exchange of things, calling it Gib und Nimm («give and take"). Her shop became a place where anyone could acquire the necessary thing to it without carrying money.
