Noctilucent clouds

Polar mezosfericheskie clouds or "noctilucent clouds" are formed in the upper atmosphere in the late spring - early summer, when the air is enough water vapor. They freeze, turning into ice crystals that light up just after sunset. This picture was taken from the International Space Station over the Tibetan Plateau on June 13.
