Christmas lights in Sydney

Every year, in the largest Australian city hosts the original light show that precedes the onset of Christmas and then lasts for most of celebration. This tradition has become a true symbol of the metropolis.





This light show is played on the facade of the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary. This cathedral is one of the five temples in Australia, which is the carrier status of "small basilica." Cathedral of the Virgin Mary is considered the most spacious on the green continent. Hence the choice of the organizers for the light show. Facade, 75 meters high, is a kind of screen on which, basically, alternating images of a religious nature. Naturally, they relate to Christmas.
