Washing hair in weightlessness



American Karen Nyberg shared with the world household tricks astronauts: she shot a video where demonstrates what women astronauts have to go for hair care. In weightless conditions Nyberg do without liquid shampoo, using dry replacer, while it lacks the minimum amount of water, first moisten the hair, then apply dry shampoo, and then rinse thoroughly with water from a tube. Do the inhabitants of the ISS have the opportunity to take a shower, only a limited amount of water four liters per person. Moisture reserves in orbit are strictly regulated, so all the water involved in the process of life astronauts repeatedly runs a cleaning cycle.
Karen Nyberg went to the ISS 29 May 2013, the year of its flight will last six months.
