Collection of the Russian National Library. Album "at hard labor in Nerchinsk" This album contains seventy-three photographs taken by AK Kuznetsov. AK Kuznetsov traveled to Nerchinsk, located near the Russian-Chinese border, in order to capture the conditions of life in prison in the Far East of Russia. These photos, taken in 1891, shows the prisoners and exiles who are at hard labor in the mines Nerchinsk.
