Uncleared snow and icicles in St. Petersburg

Many streets of the northern capital are still almost uncleared.

Actor Michael Truhin, best known for the TV series "Cops", addressed to the Governor of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko an open letter calling for clear streets and yards in town to avoid a repeat of incidents, regularly resulting in death or injury.



Truhin believes that now is kind of "northern capital," recalls the siege of Leningrad newsreel footage.
