The disease is the official name of the syndrome Schwartz-Jampal (Schwartz-Jampel syndrome). Because of this, the child is very constrained and closed in itself. To stir up a little of his father he took the boy from the orphanage three-legged dog named Hutch (Haatchi). The dog lost a leg and a tail after someone tied him to railway tracks. Veterinarians have long fought for his life. He had to go through a lot of grief and pain, before he got into the family Hawkins.

Very soon, Owen & Hutch became friends and now almost inseparable. Previously, Owen was very afraid to leave the house and generally afraid of open spaces. Anxious syndrome worsened after Owen went to school and I realized how much it differs from the other children. He was afraid to talk to other people and to be afraid to go beyond the threshold of the house.

But now the dog Owen is gradually becoming more open to the world. However, Hutch Owen attends various medical procedures, walks down the street, going to the store.

 - Previously, he was afraid to talk to other people, and now he breaks the first to tell everyone about your favorite pet and eager to visit dog shows - says the boy's father.

Hatch did not just came to Hawkins, within 15 months at the shelter, given the good character of the dog, it was prepared as a helper dog. And he fully lived up to expectations. Soon Hutch will also visit sick children in hospitals and maimed soldiers.

History of a three-legged dog and its beneficial effect on the sick child made an impression on many people, and the prize awarded by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (Fund for Animal Welfare). Hatch will receive the award next week.
