Man '53 builds huge cathedral alone Bashny.Net

Spaniard Justo Gallego Martinez has 88 years, and 53 of which he spent on the construction of the great cathedral in Madrid.

Construction began in 1961 on land inherited from parents Martinez. Here, he is the only designer, engineer, and work. The material is used for the construction of everything that manages to get - old bricks, the barrel - any trash. But sometimes, and local businesses donate him some building materials.

Martinez has bequeathed to their offspring of the Catholic Church and hoped that even after his death, there will be held church services.
