Cause of the accident was a collision with a bird or with a flock of birds, causing the aircraft was denied both engines.
According to the newspaper The New York Times, the bird strike occurred a few minutes after takeoff. The pilot tried to return to the airport, but did not succeed, and then he decided to land the plane on the water, warned the passengers.
