Stalingrad. Capitulation

February 2, 1943 in Stalingrad surrendered last group of former 6th Army. On February 3, the town still fire intermittently, but the deed was done. Twenty Wehrmacht divisions and two Romanian divisions, already driven to the edge of exhausting fighting, hunger and cold, have ceased to exist, which is called officially.
From 250 thousand were surrounded in November 1942, it was taken into captivity around 100 thousand. We survived, too few of them: Stalingrad, and thereby was icy hell of Nordic mythology "superhuman" heirs "Nordic race". All in all, the battle for Stalingrad, Germany and its allies lost about 1, 5 million people killed, wounded and captured.
