To start a small backstory.
Recently I settled in a new apartment. Really I do not know anyone else in the house. Not even with all the neighbors on the landing met. Next door lives a young family of Vietnamese (I just heard) previously only seen them and greeted them.
So! Just come home, the doorbell rang, I look there is a girl. I open, she said that they now have a holiday, the New Year on the Eastern calendar, congratulates and gives a gift in the package. Of course, I thanked her, congratulated the back and we said goodbye.
I, of course, culturally shocked!
