Uruguay's Congress signed a bill allowing the inhabitants of the country to grow and sell marijuana, reports news agency Reuters. Resolution legalizing marijuana was approved after lengthy negotiations, 16 of the 29 senators. The bill allows citizens to use Uruguay, buy and grow marijuana for personal use. Permission and commercial cultivation of this crop, but only under government control. When the law comes into its force, Uruguay will become the first country in the world with full legalization of marijuana.




Under the new bill, the price of one gram of marijuana will be only one US dollar, which is significantly below the price of drugs on the streets, where he asked for a half dollar. Trade and cultivation of marijuana for commercial purposes will be strictly monitored by a special government agency, and all customers will be fixed in the new database.

Each kneading any Uruguayan who has attained the age of majority, will have the right to buy marijuana in an amount of 40 grams. The implementation of the drug will be carried out through pharmacies. Personal cultivation will be a limit of six bushes. However, tourists do not need to get ready to pack, to plunge into the sea dubious pleasure, because selling marijuana law prohibits a foreigner. The main ideologist of the law addressed by the President of Uruguay - Jose Mujica, who believes that through this initiative will be able to decriminalize marijuana use and reduce the likelihood of leaving consumers to heavier drugs.
