Monument to the heroes of the film Officers Bashny.Net

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu opened a sculpture exhibition, which was created based on the popular Soviet film "Officers". The sculpture was inaugurated on Frunze Embankment in Moscow and plays one of the scenes of the film - the meeting after a long separation, the two comrades, his wife and grandson of one of them.






According to the minister, for the life of many generations of military officers began with this film. "Our generation is grateful Vasily Lanovoi, Yumatova Georgi, Alina Intercession of the images that are transmitted to us from the ancient generations, the heroes of bygone days", - said the head of the military department.



He also thanked the War Artists Studio Grekov for successful realization of the idea of ​​sculpture. The composition plays in bronze from the film scene: the meeting after a long separation, two comrades - Alexei Trofimov and Ivan Barabbas and wife Trofimova - Lyubov and grandson Ivan.



The opening ceremony of the monument was attended by administrative board of the Ministry of Defense, People's Artist of the USSR Vasily Lanovoi, People's Artist of the RSFSR Alina Pokrovskaya.
