Monumental canvas of American expressionist Barnett Newman «Onement VI» (pictured) sold on Tuesday at auction of contemporary art auction house Sotheby's in New York for 43, 8 million dollars. The estimated cost of the picture, written in 1953, was 30-40 million dollars.
