It was like a hell of a sudden, just as there came 60 aircraft the B-17 Flying Fortess, who dropped the most densely populated areas of the city 152 bombs.

However, when the first shock has passed, the explanation was clearly - "allies" wanted to show the power of the Soviet Union of its bombers, and, at the same time, inflict maximum damage on the industry, so she did not get to us. Not for nothing do we then reproached the fact that the socialist bloc technological and industrial development goes worse ("Western critics' themselves and take care to complicate our lives).

Yalta Conference, where the leaders of the victorious countries agreed on the lines of demarcation zones of their actions: where should go the army of a country, and where not, ended February 11, and on the night of 12 on February 13 allies in tatters bombed Dresden, who was part of the area of ​​our operations. The Americans destroyed the three bridges over the Elbe, to curb the advance of our troops, bombed, so we have not got, large industrial facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and elsewhere. By the way, when in 1941 we proposed to the British and the Americans to bomb, using the Crimean airfields, oil fields in Ploesti (Romania), they did not do as well in 1944, when the main gas station in Germany approached our troops, we hit on her.

Later, when the Americans demanded an explanation for the destruction of Prague, their version was announced, almost mocking: they said that sixty bombers off course, and that in fact they are, at first, wanted to bomb Dresden. Prague also bombed by accident!

Although he bombed Dresden and other cities in East Germany, it was not necessary, but the Americans and British bombed again, carefully turned into ruins almost everything that could get Russian, that is, serve us in the reconstruction of their own industry. Victims of these air raids were so many, with "accidentally" bombed and POW camp.

In Prague, the same February 14, 1945 has been destroyed more than a hundred unique historical buildings, dozens of important engineering and industrial facilities, but more importantly, killed 701 people and injured 1184 man! Remember these figures! Seven hundred people were killed only because of the fact that "the Americans were wrong».

In the last twenty years, we are all ears buzz about the so-called "Prague Spring", which was presented as a kind of liberation revolution that was crushed by the Soviet regime. In fact, it was a simple political provocation, using the "orange technologies" as one would say now. Western provocateurs corny applied all the effects of the scheme turned out that they enjoyed in Romania, immediately after the war (but then Stalin very well put out the plague), and in Hungary in 1956, and, of course, more recently, in our times. There were also the same speech in East Germany after the war, the German police repressed harshly and mercilessly.

But then we did not know much, and the Czechs had no idea a lot, because that provocation, in the eyes of many people, looked like something natural.

Fortunately, the Prague rebellion in 1968, managed to neutralize, put out in a relatively short time, and because of that we and the whole world got a chance to even twenty years, live in peace, to develop and not be aware of everything that collapsed in 1991. If the "Prague Spring" was not extinguished immediately, the war in Yugoslavia, the Caucasus, all the many provocations, death, broken lives, and the extinction of our population and industry would start earlier. Provocation in Prague, it was necessary to pay off, returning the balance of power in Europe, in its place, not allowing West to eat a piece of the territory that was produced by us in battle.

Now, attention! During the suppression of the Prague rebellion in 1968, in total, there were less than a hundred victims.

And most importantly, we did not think to bomb Prague, it is just that the Americans bombed - Belgrade and Baghdad, and Prague "by accident", nothing about what happened in Vietnam, and I will not speak. Just two examples:
1 - Division of ARA (Army Special Forces in those years) were thrown out to the airfield without cartridges. The capture took place without bloodshed, strip cleared of barricades and taken sides with the infantry.
2 - German guard / they, too, were introduced in Czechoslovakia / spent on the street chalk line - "The passage is forbidden!". Some teen crosses the "border" and the time immediately shoots. And falls.

And compare: less than a hundred victims from operations in 1968, which dealt with many, was necessary for the Soviet people, and for the stability of the entire world! And whether it is possible to compare seven hundreds killed by a "random flight»?

All of the past twenty years, but that there is much more we were told about the "evil Soviet scoundrels", creating violence in Prague, but not a word that was seven times more monstrous - the cynical actions of the US military, which took place in the same historical period a little earlier. Seven times more casualties, ten times more injured, with no official purpose, only a secret sabotage.

But all the propaganda presented as if the Americans - the good, and Russian - bad, it is bad, but because of Russian-and Czechoslovakia was restored. The same of Czechoslovakia, which the British, French, Germans, Poles and Hungarians "correctly" was divided as a result of the 1938 Munich Agreement.
