Consequences of tornadoes in Townsville in northern Queensland, Australia. Townsville City was at the epicenter. Wind speeds of up to 110 kilometers per hour tore roofs from houses. Just a few minutes suffered some forty residential buildings. More than 7,000 residents were left without electricity.
