Reconstruction of the house of Marcos Alvarez Montes

Of old stone ruins in Bares, which is in the north of Spain, the architect Marcos Alvarez Montes was able to build a new cozy, modern house - Vivienda en Bares.








Moreover, the size of a new home fully comply with the old. From the previous house there were only stone walls, which the architect cleverly fit into the new interior. The house had almost completely reschedule the inside, there was only a staircase intact.





The main task of the architect was to create natural lighting residential area. This he achieved by glass windows mounted in the roof of the house.















New house claims to be a special architectural award, which is awarded for the preservation of historical and architectural heritage.
