Two school friends, worst enemies, met a few years after graduating from high school with a very interesting circumstances.

Will (James Wolf), the brother of one of them, Marni (Kristen Bell), marries another, Joanna (Odette Yustman). Not wanting to put up with what is going on, Marnie starts a war against his cousin Joanna future. Besides Aunt Joanna Ramona (Sigourney Weaver) just harassed at school the mother Marnie Gail (Jamie Lee Curtis). Complicated new circumstances, hostilities break out with a vengeance.

The desire to win at any cost puts upcoming wedding to the brink of collapse as long as the matter does not come heavy artillery in the form of Marni's father (Victor Garber) and grandmother (Betty White).
