The winners of the photo contest «Focus on Nature» Bashny.Net

The regular photo contest, which, as you know, has been focused on nature and the environment. In the contest, three weeks of attended more than 1,600 photographers from around the world.

Organizers edition «Palm Beach Post» and their media partners «Clikhear», for the seventh time this competition is carried out in a jury which includes well-known photographers and media representatives. The main requirement was one condition - pictures must be made in Florida.

First prize winner, got Steve Scherer of the picture taken on the Nikon D300 in West Palm Beach.





This kid bitterns, shot by Keith Snyder, ranked first in the category "Animals."



Second place in the category "Animals" - Osprey fishing, Michael Grant.



Great Blue Heron at sunset - third place in the same category, Suzanne Payette.



The following four works were awarded with special prizes of the jury.









First place in the category of "Close-up", a trio of Asian gray weevils, Jessica Rowley.



Second place - "Butterfly Eyes" by Trish Smith.



Lizard, frog eat breakfast - the third category "Closeup" Charlotte Harrison.



The following three works - a special prize from the jury.







The first prize category "Landscapes and scenes" - James Williams and his "boundless energy".



"Two hawk at sunset" Mark Thorpe Deksberi, took second place.



Red mangrove shot Susan King, was awarded third place in this category.

Category "Ocean". First place went to a picture of Douglas Keyhla.



The second place at Elaine Bloom.



Third place at the Richard Watson.



In this category the jury award was only one - again Elaine Bloom.



The category "Plants". First place went to a picture Marcelo Gomez Calvo.



Second place went to Caitlin Fosselman with a drop leaf.



Edward Slater called this picture "Magic Sun" and took him to third place.



Finally, another three works in the category "Plants", received a grant from the jury.
