On the implementation of this unique project the architects and designers from the studio «Handel Architects». The restructuring of the hotel has been successfully completed last year. The total area of the project amounted to more than 17 000 square meters
Originally, this place is the headquarters of the National Maritime Union of America. In 1970, the organization was disbanded, and until 2006, the building was used in various fields. Until there was the idea to create the Maritime Hotel. Today, this twelve-storey building in the Chelsea District offers 316 comfortable rooms, two restaurants, an outdoor pool, gym, and much more necessary infrastructure at a premium. Particularly attracted the attention of maritime design of the hotel. To create the necessary exterior, it had to build a huge shield made of stainless steel with round windows, like on most boats.
