World Festivals in August: Part Two

We continue to acquaint you with the most unusual and interesting festivals that take place all over the planet. Each event has its own characteristics and traditions, but they all have a good time and a sense of celebration.
We begin our journey to Spain, where not far from Valencia passes the traditional battle of tomatoes «La Tomatina». During the festival, the town of Buñol, home to the event, just tone in tomatoes. Next stop, here in Spain, and even in the same province, in the town of Puebla del Duc. It does not throw tomatoes. Here rush grapes :) Festival «La Raima» manages to use about 90 tons of grapes. Another American Festival in Crystal Falls, Michigan. It is called «Humungus Fungus» posvyazen and one of the largest in the world of fungi - Armillaria Gallica. Intrigued? Translation - "honey agaric Tolstonog" :) In the area of this town is the largest colony of the fungus. The festival was born a little more than 30 years ago, when it was discovered 15 hectares entirely ustelennogo mushrooms. The festival consists of a number of related events: a parade, competitions of cooks, unconventional sports competitions. A climax is manufacturing, followed by eating, giant mushroom pizza.
Again we return to Europe. In the southwest of France, in the town of trio-sur-Bay festival «La Pourcailhade», devoted to the pigs. Besides the traditional pig's race and competition cooking pork is very popular contest «Championnat de France du Cri de Cochon», in which you want to simulate the sounds of pigs at different ages.
