Switzerland. Ten and a half thousand skiers took part today in the Engadin Ski Marathon - skiing competition at a distance of 42.2 km near the ski resort of St. Moritz.
The winner of the marathon, the Norwegian Arne Hetland Tour set a new record of the race in the Engadine - 1 hr 24 min 30 sec 5.
