They come out into the light of spotlights, and it seems as if their life is one continuous, endless holiday. But reality is often more ruthless than any fiction. The story of Yulia Nachalova is not just a verified biography of a successful singer. This is a story about how pain was hidden behind a dazzling facade. Pain that she kept silent about until the very end.

A girl born for music

She was born in Voronezh. January 31, 1981. A family of professional musicians. Sounds like a cliché, doesn't it? But for little Yulia, music was not just a background sound coming from the radio. It was her air. Already at the age of five, the girl confidently stood on the stage, not afraid of either the audience or the loud sound.

And then "Morning Star" happened. Remember this show? In the early nineties, the whole country was glued to the screens on weekends. And there, among hundreds of other talented children, she appeared. Sincere. With an incredible, almost frightening talent for a child and an adult awareness of the stage.

While other children were scraping their knees in the yard, hiding bad grades from their parents and just enjoying their childhood, Yulia lived in a hard non-stop mode. Filming pavilions with their specific dusty smell of heated lamps. Recordings in the studio, where fatigue sometimes just closed her eyes. Endless tours. And with all this - good grades in school. Honor student syndrome? Perhaps. She always tried to be the best. For parents, for viewers, for herself.

Four octaves and the price of success

In 1992, the country saw her first video for the song "Teacher". And three years later, the debut album "Oh, school, school" was released. Critics praised. Viewers adored. Her first husband was the soloist of the "Prime Minister" group Dmitry Lanskoy. A beautiful young couple. Magazine covers, smiles for the camera. But the marriage lasted only two years. The reason is as old as the world - infidelity. Constant, painful, destroying a woman's self-esteem to the ground.

This divorce hit her hard. Yulia not only had a hard time - she began to melt before her eyes. Literally. Anorexia. With a height of 167 centimeters, she began to weigh only 42 kilograms. Imagine this figure. This is not the slenderness imposed by magazines. This is transparency. This is despair, translated into grams and kilograms. In 2005, football player Evgeny Aldonin appeared in her life. A fast, beautiful romance, a luxurious wedding in 2006. And already in December of the same year, Vera was born. A girl who took the best creative features of her mother - she draws, sings and dances beautifully.

It seemed that here it is - the long-awaited quiet haven. The family she dreamed of so much. But after five years, the couple divorced. Journalists then wrote different things, looking for the right and wrong. The name of hockey player Alexander Frolov surfaced in the press. At first, Yulia denied everything - she defended her personal space as best she could. But over time, hiding feelings became pointless.

They were together for four years. Fans were waiting for a quick wedding, and she... she was just tired of getting burned. The bitter experience of past years made her treat marriage with great caution. A stamp in the passport no longer seemed to her a prerequisite for happiness. And in 2016, these relations ended. Quietly, without breaking dishes on the air of talk shows. Just long separations and mismatched schedules did their job.

Doctors begged her to agree to amputate part of her leg. But Yulia did not dare. This is a terrible choice for any person, and for a beautiful woman, an artist - just unbearable. She hoped that everything would be fine. When she lost consciousness, relatives gave their consent to the operation. It was carried out on March 16.

But it was too late. The body, exhausted by diseases, gave up. In the evening of the same day, her heart stopped. 38 years. The age when life seems to be just coming to a flat plateau.
