Gaming equipment and content provider Light & Wonder Inc (L&W) has unveiled its debut Jin Ji Bao Xi Grand slot at the MGS Entertainment Show in Macau.



This is the latest iteration of the Jin Ji Bao Xi series, which launches alongside the base games Tiger and Phoenix. The novelty is presented on the 43-inch body of Kascada by Light & Wonder. Light & Wonder was “very excited to take part in this year’s show and present a diverse portfolio of gaming solutions at its booth,” said Trevor Ross, the company’s Asia sales director, in response to questions from GGRAsia.
MGS is a casino exhibition and conference, and the 2023 exhibition was held at the Galaxy International Convention Center on the grounds of the Galaxy Macau Casino on November 14 and 15.
Jin Ji Bao Xi Grand's Tiger and Phoenix games are claimed to be based on the proven formula of Jin Ji Bao Xi's original game mechanics, with new elements including a progressive fifth-level jackpot, as well as the "Golden Feature," which offers a 6×5 reel extension and a "Double Replenish" feature, which is claimed to improve players' gaming experience.

At MGS, the group also showcased its L&W Engage player loyalty platform. According to the corporate video, it provides gaming operators with a "360-degree view of guest preferences and behavior in real time" so operators can "reward their loyalty with perfectly matched offers."
According to the company’s Asia sales director, L&W Engage offers an artificial intelligence tool, giving gaming operators “access to information such as player habits, offer preferences and the ability to promote marketing among [casino] customers in real time.”
Mr. Ross also noted that the group's customers in the Asia-Pacific region can count on the introduction of RouletteX, which gives players the opportunity to win up to 500 times more than their single-number bet. Players can also choose their own level of volatility. The game includes a 3D wheel, animated celebration and musical accompaniment of each win.
In Light & Wonder additionally installed desktop progressive operating system GM Atlas. It gives operators the ability to launch a "Cash Spin" feature, which opens when a player gets a high hand. The wheel includes wedges with top jackpots.



The Card Recycler product analyzes used cards to identify defects, while rejecting damaged cards and recycling reusable cards into full, standard casino decks. “This solution allows casino operators to minimize labor costs, reduce annual card costs and reduce their carbon footprint,” Light & Wonder said in a statement.
