What did Vladimir Moiseenko pay for his success and where did he evaporate?

Vladimir Moiseenko was one of the most recognizable humorists of the Soviet Union. True, real success came to him and his permanent partner Vladimir Danilets already at the dawn of the collapse of the USSR. The cult number “Rabbits” glorified artists throughout the country. But a few years later, they almost disappeared from the TV screens. Where is Moiseenko now and what he does, we tell later in the article.

Instagram / @viktor_z55 Vladimir Moiseenko is a native of Leningrad region. He was born in 1963 in the village of Glebychevo in a military family. His father was a pilot, and very soon he had to move to Kiev for work. The future comedian was only 8 months old when he left his homeland. In Kiev, he graduated from school and pop and circus school. It was there that Moiseenko met his future partner on stage Vladimir Danilets.

The friendship of the guys was like a symbiosis of two perfectly fit people. The classmates encouraged them to start performing on stage. And after 3 years, Moiseenko and Danilets created the duo “Rabbits”.



Instagram / @viktor_z55 At the dawn of his career, Vladimir managed to work in Ukrconcert and Kyivconcert. Together with his partner, he managed to loudly declare himself as a talented artist of the conversational genre. After 2 years he received his first award.

However, the all-Union fame came to the artists when they presented their cult number “Rabbits” on the air of the TV show “The Household”. This happened in 1990. It was far from the only number that hit the audience so hard. Also on the ear is a humorous production of “Indian cinema”.

They began to appear more and more on television screens. So, for example, they could be seen in the show “Wake up and sing”, “Crooked mirror” and “Laughter”.

Having received the title of People's Artist of Ukraine, Moiseenko calmly worked in Russia. Speaking in Russian was much more familiar to him. Creativity was for a man everything. He worked so hard that he once lost consciousness on stage.

Moiseenko really began to appear in public less often. As time passes, the humor that people used to like has lost its relevance.

Yet Vladimir has not disappeared. In the autumn of 2020, on the channel “112 Ukraine”, the duo “Rabbits” began to conduct a program called “15 minutes about the sore”. In each episode, the partners ridiculed various social and political issues.

On the personal front, Vladimir Moiseenko never had any problems. He is one-man and has been married for many years to a beautiful woman named Katya. Vladimir has an adult daughter, Lisa, who lives in the United States, as well as a younger son, Ilya.
