Should you hang a tulle in front of the balcony door?

The problem with windows and balcony doors is that they are not symmetrical. It always seems that this is a dead end – it is not clear how to design this space in such a way as to preserve harmony, and even better – to create a new image. The first thing that comes to mind is, of course, all kinds of curtains and curtains.

How to decorate a window with curtainsThis is what will be discussed in this article. Our task is to visually beat the asymmetry or hide it, create a single and understandable composition, preserve the ability to freely get to the balcony. It's not an easy task. Together with the editorial board "Site" Finding a solution will be much easier.

How to decorate a window
  1. tulle
Tulle and curtains on the sides will perfectly hide the window, and the door, and even the radiator under the window sill. Tulle is better divided into two separate canvases, and for fastenings use rings that will move them at any time, and on the cornice they move perfectly. You can pick up the curtains below, too, but it's for your taste.

  2. Roman blinds
This is an option for those who consider asymmetry to be quite normal, and heavy curtains, on the contrary, not normal. Agree on the option with Roman curtains: they are easy at any time to raise, choose the most arbitrary color, protect from the sun, draft them will not stretch. If you are a minimalist and do not like excessive pomp, then this is your choice.

  3. garde
You put a Roman curtain on the window, then on the door, and you realize it's not enough. You don’t like minimalism so much that the door and window are essentially bare. Hang the curtain opposite the door, you can grab it with a simple holder on a magnet. It is easy to clean, it will not get dirty too much. And minimalism is no longer so core.

  4. Luvers
Luvers are rings that are inserted immediately into the fabric, and also perfectly slide along the cornice. The fabric can be chosen dense, preferably monochrome. Relief is also suitable, will look rich and dirty less. In my opinion, this is a great option.

  5. Thread curtains
Very practical. They hide the door well and look great. I have these in my kitchen, I just go out on the balcony through the threads, so there is no need to tie anything. But in this barrel of honey there is a spoonful of tar: the threads cling to the door and they have to be removed. Irritating. This is the only disadvantage, otherwise it is a great and simple solution.

  6. Light blinds
They're curtains. It often happens that the balcony is glazed and draped with blinds. There is less light in the room or kitchen. If you hang heavy dense curtains, then the room will be constantly dark. The solution is simple curtains of light fabric. Tulle's fine, too.

  7. Asymmetry
We would like to avoid it, but there is an option to win. Cling different in size and texture curtains with curtains and feel like a real designer. If you can't do it yourself, look online. It is important to like you and your soul mate. Or at least one person.

A simple rule. How to make an exit to the balcony It is formulated very simply: the more often used, the simpler the design. In the living room you can use something complex, textile, in the bedroom textile, but easier, for example, with luvers. For the kitchen, choose simple curtains, there the door opens constantly.
