Lately, I’ve been paying for the internet just to find out who played Wordle. What is this puzzle and why everyone is hooked on it:

At the beginning of the year, strange posts began to appear on social media with various combinations of gray, yellow and green squares. The ignorant were lost in guesses, trying to understand what is hidden behind the mysterious messages. It turned out that in this way users share the results of their game in the free browser puzzle Wordle. How did this simple fun conquer the Internet community and where to play Wordle in Russian? So, you put in the first line a word that came to mind. If there is a letter in the answer, it lights up in yellow. If it is in the right place, the color will be green. Letters that are not in the word become gray.
Now it remains to turn on the logic and choose a word in which all the letters will be in the right places. Sometimes it takes six tries, sometimes four. If it’s two or three, how can you not share it with your friends?
Wordle had only 90 active users in November and now has more than 2 million active users. People are bribing that the puzzle does not need to be downloaded. It is enough to drive the name into the search box, click on the first link and play “without registration and SMS”. And since everyone solves the same word every day, you can find like-minded people and feel the joy of competition.

The popularity of Wordle has made it the subject of many jokes. And while some users come up with memes, others turn circuits with the results of the game into real pictures.
