Decembrist will bloom like burnt, if given a balanced feeding, nutritious broth for your favorite plant

Winter has come and we are again pleased with the incredibly beautiful and lush flowering of the Decembrist. For some, this is a rare New Year’s miracle, and for others, a predictable pattern. After all, with good fertilization, Schlumberger will surely please you with buds blooming. And it will happen as scheduled, in late November - early December.

Decembrist flowering When does a Christmas tree need feeding? Decembrist forms buds on fresh growths appearing at the tips of shoots. It follows that for a lush flowering of the plant such shoots should be as much as possible.

But how do you do that? The answer is simple: saturate the soil with fertilizers necessary for the growth of the green mass. We tell you how and when to do this.

  1. Early autumn
During this period, buds are laid for the winter wave of flowering. You need two feedings at intervals of three weeks. In autumn, we do not need the plant to waste its resources on leaves to the detriment of flowering. Therefore, for autumn feeding, we choose fertilizers with a high content of phosphorus and potassium.

  2. March to May
Spring is the period of plant growth. We feed once a month.
  3. June to August
In summer, the Decembrist begins a rapid growth of leaves. Therefore, feeding should be carried out more often - 1.5-2 times a month. Don’t forget to pay attention to the formula N-P-K in the instructions or on etiquette. During the green mass buildup, nitrogen (N) should be greater than phosphorus (P) and potassium (K).

What to use as a feeder? Today we will not think about sugar, wood ash and bone meal, as the topic of natural remedies is already covered in one of the previous articles. Let's talk about ready-made liquid mineral fertilizers.

The advantages of using them I can name several. First, a novice grower will not have to thoroughly understand the chemical composition of the components, trying to find the nitrogen in them.

Just read the label on the back of the product. In early autumn and spring, fertilizers marked “for bloomers” are suitable. In the summer – “for decorative and leafy”.

Secondly, you do not need to wash, dry, crush, sift and grind anything in a coffee grinder. Spread water and go. And thirdly, oddly enough, ready-made fertilizer will not cost you so much.

Judge for yourself: the usual inexpensive fertilizer "for bloomers" costs about 70 rubles for 200 ml. When used, it must be diluted at the rate of 10 ml per 1 liter of water. The composition “for decorative and deciduous” will cost you about the same amount. Thus, the real consumption of each fertilizer will be 50-60 ml per year. One bottle will last for 2 or 3 years.

If your Decembrist has bloomed, try not to move it from place to place, do not wash or turn the pot in relation to the light. It is better not to touch the flower at all, but just enjoy its beauty.

If you believe specialists in feng shui, the Decembrist flower creates an aura of kindness and understanding in the family. Put it in the money zone and your family will be financially well.

Not bypassed the flowering Decembrist side and folk signs. It blossomed in October - to money. In November, expect a pleasant acquaintance. To dream, unexpected and pleasant changes in life are coming. And if it blooms twice a year, then it is to the soon replenishment of the family.
