What the house of Andrei Konchalovsky looks like
Real, living houses are built over decades, bit by bit, by detail, by the people who live in them. The house can not just be rented along with the interior, there is no soul in such a house. So it happened and Andrei Konchalovsky, his house “grown” from the parent nest, built in the distant 50s. The house where the director spent his childhood is a favorite place of his family, and here’s why.
"Site" will show you the cozy house of Yulia Vysotskaya and Andrei Konchalovsky, built in the Old Russian style. It's a charm!
Once Konchalovsky and his family decided to go on vacation in a lovely place - his father's house on Nikolina Gora. Instead of a few days, the family stayed there for a whole year, and soon decided to move to a cozy house in the Moscow region. They decided to rebuild the estate, update the situation, but leave everything as before - in the style of the ancient Russian tower.
Surprisingly, the director managed to save almost everything from his parents’ house and fit the cute things into the modern interior. Directly from the street you get into a cozy and spacious living room - a favorite place for family gatherings. It is impossible not to pay attention to a solid library and ancient paintings that adorn the walls of the family tower.
The main task - to combine modern technologies and old furniture was carried out at the highest level. Konchalovsky House It is built of calibrated pine, handmade columns are installed inside the structure for stability and beauty. From the two-storey estate gradually grew a four-storey new house, which seemed to embrace the parent.
Instead of the veranda, a winter garden was built with furniture imported from Florence. Cozy place for family dinners!
The bedroom of Vysotskaya and Konchalovsky is designed in the same style. The old bed went to the family from the great-grandfather of the director.
During the renovation, all the furniture was numbered so that all the items could be placed in their places of honor. Perfect harmony of old and new!
The old painted cabinet was brought by Konchalovsky from China. It seems to fit perfectly into the interior of the house.
And here is the famous TV kitchen of Julia Vysotskaya! The kitchen and dining room are located on the ground floor and are made in Provence style.
Modern French technique is elegantly combined with antique furniture, which is more than 300 years old.
The only room that caused controversy during the renovation was the bathroom. Julia wanted more wood on the floor, but it was not practical. The bathroom looks very bright and cozy, the floor is lined with stone slabs, and Moroccan tiles adorn the walls.
The fireplace is made in the spirit of a natural boyar oven. It looks amazing!
In the living room next to the window flaunts a grand piano of the twentieth century, on which a little Andrei Sergeyevich played melodies. Konchalovsky House and Vysotskaya Impressive with its luxury, but at the same time there is no ostentatious pathos. It just feels like people built it with love and for themselves.
In Russia, people do not count money: the majority because there is none, and the minority because there are too many! Not everyone can build the house they dream of. Wealthy people often lack imagination and culture, they have not seen much, and they want something special. Nevertheless, this barbaric self-construction is dearer to me than perfectly built American town houses, says Andrei Sergeyevich.
Indeed, to build a dream home under the power of not everyone. Andrei Konchalovsky and Yulia Vysotskaya thoroughly approached their dream and realized it with special grace. It's a delight!
