Hiking in the mountains: routes in the Carpathians and climbing the African Kilimanjaro

It is the shortest and most suitable for those who climb the mountains for the first time.

Despite its short length, the route allows tourists to see all the climatic zones of Kilimanjaro. The hike is considered 8-day, but the ascent and descent take 6 days:
  1. Transition through the rainforest to the Umbwe Gate.
  2. Walking along the Baranko Valley and Umbwe Ridge surrounded by low trees and shrubs.
  3. Ascent to the Karang campground and acclimatization to a height of 4270 m;
  4. Access to Barafu Hut;
  5. Ascent to the highest point - Uhuru Peak with a height of 5895 m, the beginning of the descent;
  6. Continue descent and exit from the National Park.
