How to grow homemade tomatoes Choose quality seeds. It is better to sow them immediately in separate pots. If you use a box, then when transplanting, peek directly into the soil of the greenhouse with a distance of 15 cm between plants. Cover the ground with a light spanbond. When the tomatoes are a little older, cut them out.

The first watering of seedlings planted in open ground was carried out after 7-10 days. Don't forget to mulch and loosen the soil.

Periodically remove all stepsons and leaves below the first brush. One root must work on one stem so that the forces go to the formation of fruits.

Two weeks after landing in the open ground, treat the seedlings with a solution of greenery to prevent phytophthorosis: 1 liter of water 1 drop of green.

When the bushes grow so big that it becomes difficult for them to hold themselves, tie them up. At a distance of 5 cm from the stem, install a pole. Round the stem with a cord and tie it to the poles. And when the fruit comes, do the same with the brushes, otherwise the creases will prevent the filling of the fruit. You can also put plaques under them so that the tomatoes do not touch the ground.

Some varieties of tomatoes bloom very abundantly. Such should be thinned: leave five or seven flowers on one brush, and pluck the excess.

If more than five brushes are formed on the stem, the growth point should be removed. Instead, stepsons will appear: shoots that grow from the root of the sinuses of leaves. They will have to, without regret, break.
