Today we want to talk about the Netherlands. A wonderful country that is interesting not only tulips, cheese and many bicycles, but also local household features.

Residents of the Netherlands can surprise a recently arrived tourist. For example, they really like to whistle. And to fill the awkward pause, they can easily resort to artistic whistles until they think about what to talk about later.

They are responsible for the birthdays of close people. Often, just hang a calendar in the toilet, where the significant dates of all family members and loved ones are marked. You will never forget to congratulate someone you care about.

By the way, the locals are very organized. This is because it is customary to carefully plan your days, weeks and even months. Therefore, just so to visit a friend will not work – he is probably busy. And the striking straightforwardness of the Dutch will not prevent him from directly asking the unexpected guest to leave as soon as possible.

As early as seven o’clock in the evening, Dutch moms and dads send their kids to bed. But adults have enough time to fully rest from work or do their own business.

Heat wrap the child here is not in a hurry even in cold weather. Often you can see that the parents themselves are warmly dressed even in April, and the child half-dressed running barefoot on the water. It's tempering, I guess.

At the age of 13, local laws allow a teenager to work, and therefore many immediately rush to get a job. As a rule, you have to perform simple tasks like putting goods on the shelf in the store. Someone's handing out flyers. At 15, you can get a job as a cashier, a newspaper deliverer or a waiter. They are paid no less than their adult colleagues.

The highest point in the country is the Walserberg hill (only 321 meters above sea level). At the same time, the Dutch love mountains madly and are very jealous of everyone who has mountains in the country. Passion for the mountains is manifested in the names of settlements such as “Seven Mountains”, “Three Mountains”, “Mountain by the Sea”. Of course, there are no mountains here. What's that name for? It just sounds beautiful.

If you are invited to visit, do not rush to rejoice. Usually they treat only tea with cookies or cake. You can only take one piece of cake or one cookie. Taking the second piece is no longer polite. Therefore, it is better to have a good lunch before visiting.

By the way, if you are going to a birthday party, remember that in addition to the culprit of the celebration, you should also congratulate each guest present. As a gift, the birthday girl is often given flowers. Money is rarely given, and it is very modest. Even at the wedding, the young will receive only a envelope with 20 euros. Coming without a gift is not scary.

With so much needed people try not to swear. Who will shed flowers and look after your pet when you have to leave for a long time? But the neighbors here are fighting, too. And there's even a manual on the police website that explains, swear properly with an annoying neighbor. Just life in Europe in all its glory.

If he makes noise in the evenings or his dog barks loudly, then first advise to make a complaint to him. If it does not help, then you need to contact a special district service that deals with such conflicts. And only if everything turned out to be ineffective, you can complain to the police. A precinct will come, who has the authority to deprive a noisy neighbor and audio equipment, and even a dog.

Therefore, they try to resolve all cases amicably and not bring them to the police. Although there are cute grandmothers, who do what they do to monitor the order and lively write complaints to all neighbors in a row for the most minor violations.

With style, everything is simple - it is not. Clothing and footwear should be practical to be comfortable riding a bike. Therefore, hairpins, miniskirts and long dresses local beauties do not need. And the cold sea wind makes Dutch and Dutch women regularly dress in waterproof jackets. Such an outfit is not spectacular.

And to buy clothes in second-hand local girls like. And even brag to each other if you can find something really worth a penny. At the same time, the simplest outfits on local ladies look good and natural. They don’t dress to impress anyone. And so the girls on the street and the presenters on television look about the same - at home.
