New motorcycle Zero SR with a power reserve of 320 km
American company Zero have just introduced a new version of electric motorcycles, which on a single charge of batteries will be able to overcome a record of 320 kilometers. Such features got the upgraded model Zero S and its more powerful modification of the Zero SR.
According to the manufacturer, the Zero S and Zero SR have become the world's first electric motorbike, capable to overcome a distance of 320 km (200 miles). There are, however, two significant "but". First, the performance required to overcome the declared distances will only be possible with the installation of costly additional batteries pack Power Tank, which costs $2.7 thousand. Second, even with this option on the track of the updated model did not show such an impressive result and can drive on one charge is twice less than in the city, only 160 km (100 miles).
The new models power unit Z-Force was improved motors with permanent magnets, which allows the motorcycle to accelerate faster.
