Airbus presented the project of a flying taxi

A subsidiary of Airbus, based in California, and developing a flying taxi called Vahana, has revealed the first design sketch of the project. A full-sized prototype, according to preliminary data, may be released before the end of 2017.





"Taxi" will be a drone for one passenger or cargo. A flying car will complement the system of Autonomous control, it will be able to identify other objects in the air and away from collisions.

Airbus is also developing a larger flying taxi. The device will be called CityAirbus, he will get horizontal propellers that allow vertical take-off and landing. In addition, it will be equipped with an autopilot but the controls would still be implemented.
